Fun facts I learned in Georgia

While we were staying with the Bristols, Kaylyn and I were talking about how we use different words for the same thing. Such as:

we say to put on our heads in the winter: beanie
they say tabogan.....isn't that an olympic event??

we say freeway
they say express way

we say shopping cart
they say buggie

Also, I found to be really funny is that we use bark for landscape, but they use pine needles to landscape. I saw bales of pine needles for sale.

Also, all their fire hydrants were painted silver and I don't know why, but I kept wondering why they wouldn't paint them red like they do here. I never asked Kyle because I knew he would just look at me like, "you did not just ask that question."

Kyle is off hunting...well he is more of a participant this time. He says he'll be home on Sunday so I'm off to fend for myself the next couple days. So if you get lonely know that I am lonely too.....

Trash, I also love southern homes. I am thinking about moving into one of the old plantation homes, just as soon as I become a billionaire and can stand the sticky humidity/heat. But Georgia is beautiful.

Happy anniversary!

I get lonely too! I'm here all alone without Shane. Misery sure loves company and I feel better that you are lonely too. JUST KIDDING! I love all the pictures and I love those huge plantation houses.
