The Deer Hunt with 10 boys and just me

So I went on the deer hunt this past weekend. Kyle didn't have a tag, but his dad and brother in law did. The weather was awesome and I was in the best of company. I felt right at home with all the boys. I hiked everywhere Kyle took me and watched the "art" of hunting as I sat and watched them glass for the big bucks. The hunting was great to me, but what I really went for (besides to be with Kyle) is the stories around the camp fire with Rob, Keith, and Andrew. If you know these three I understand if you are completely jealous of me.

This is the crew. How many guys does it take to kill 2 deer :)

Opening morning was a beautiful one

It was freezing though. I looked lovely as I simply rolled out of bed and put on 10 layers of clothing on.

Kyle and Layth are hunting hunks!!

Layth, Keith, Kyle all glassing for a heavy buck for Keith to shoot. I couldn't help but be in aw.. a little bit as I took this picture. Here a father and his two oldest boys are out here in the wild. I couldn't help think that Jeana would feel so proud as a mom to behold a picture like this.

Their hard work and patience paid off.

This is our tent we bought the day we left for the deer hunt. You can stand up anywhere in the tent. It is fabulous!!
