Pair of jeans, earrings, clothes, shoes.... I was so excited this Christmas for the gifts I would be receiving from Santa. The possibilities were endless.....until one frightful friday when there would be only one gift I would be receiving this Christmas year....
A NEW ACL
Last friday my sister needed some extra subs since it was Thanksgiving weekend and all and I rarely pass up an opportunity to play soccer. It was a womens league and not that competitive so I didnt' think I was going to exhort myself all that much. It was a close game. With two min left we were only up by 1 goal. I can't remember how it happened, I just know it was totally lame cause I didn't have the ball and actually no one was around me...sigh.... I just heard this grind...grind...grind...POP.. and down I went screaming.
After I gained my composure and was carried off the field, I was almost certain I knew what had happened. I waited a couple of days hoping this nightmare would not come true. After going to the nicest doctor in the world (I love him) he broke the news that I had indeed torn my ACL and would need surgery. So come Jan I will get a new ACL. Not sure how I'm going to take care of Kade while I'm high on drugs and on crutches for a couple of weeks, but it will come and go and I'll be back playing before I know it.

oh ash that sucks! clint did that riding his dirt bike and it was no fun! i know you won't take me up on this cause you have a lot of family around but really if you need anything im always around :)
Maybe I should come and nurse you back to health!! I am so sorry this happened to you. It is no fun. But you are strong and have such a great attitude that I know you will get through this. P.S. Did you get your BYUH soccer shirt?? Love you!
